Oldy Worldy

On a shopping trip in Newcastle, my friend Martin wanted to go to the model shop in the Grainger Market (it must be a man thing).

The Grainger Market was apparently built in the 1830s.

I used to hate being dragged here when I was a kid, there always seemed to be dead animals hanging at the butchers and squashed tomatoes on the floor.

The market has been cleaned up to what I remember, it's now got quite a nice oldy worldy feel, although I still prefer Primark!

I'm off to rest my feet now, I feel like I've walked miles today!
