Red hot poker

Well it was almost red hot today, about 19 degrees - very pleasant. Busy at work today but pleased to lend P my car as his was in the garage. Meant I could get outdoors and find my way home on my own steam later. Took a short bus journey and then meandered through the fields and country paths to get home. Only trouble was I looked a bit stupid with my suit and heels on!

This red hot poker plant was asking for a pic and looked a bit like one - it was tucked away in a corner of one of the fields.
