Up and running..

Busy day, our neighbours (no.24) Pete & Jo are out on holiday, they have not done car hire, they have borrowed mine and Corins bikes to get out and about. However, today they needed to go to Ikea in Murcia, too far on a bike, so we took them. They bought a couple of sofa's and much more, we bought a new towel rack and toilet roll holder for our guest bathroom, plus a few more bits and pieces.

We eventually arrived home, I then went to Elche shopping centre as I needed new trainers, I also bought a couple of new vest tops. Back home to find Roy had got the drill out, in readiness for putting the new towel rack on the wall.

That was the easy bit. We then spent 15 minutes deciding where to put the toilet roll holder. Imagination is needed here, we both took it in turns to sit on the loo with the loo roll holder at different heights to decide on the 'right' height, decision made. Roy drills the first hole, okay, starts to drill the second hole, the drill bit breaks, curses, can't get the broken drill bit out, so gets a bigger drill and drills, the broken drill then falls into the cavity and we are left with a bigger hole, solution, a bigger rawl plug, job done.

At this point I decided I am not cooking, so we went out for a pizza, which turned into, wine, starters, main, dessert and coffee, I had said I would pay, more than I anticipated, but hey ho my pension went in the bank today, if I can't treat my husband to a meal now and again life is sad.

The new trainers look the dogs b******s. and are comfy.

Speaking to mum tonight, she thought Pete and Jo where two blokes, Pete will cry laughing tomorrow when I tell him.
