Reunion

Subscribers of a plumber's wife's journal ( hebby) will notice similarities with today's blip.
Today was the day that 4 girls who went to school together from the age of 7 ( or a little later in some cases) got together again after approximately 22 years. Dani, who's house we met up at, and I have been in touch more over the passing years, but it is through blip that I have reconnected with Lisa and Hebby over the last year. We ate delicious food, sipped pink sparkly stuff and chatted with such ease and comfort as one can only do with people with whom you share a history. I reminded Lisa how she, as a 7 year old, would always share her chocolate biscuit with me every school playtime, before wandering off to play with someone else. Hebby will be eternally remembered for her amazing gymnastic abilities and Dani for many a happy hour watching dirty dancing and the Rocky horror show together, over and over again. We are all happy and settled in our very different lives and,as we approach 40, I think we can all be very proud of how our lives have worked out so far. As I left I said " let's not leave it until we are 60 'til we do this again." Next year, Bodrum, I say! Thanks girls, oh and dani, join blipfoto!
