Coldstones Quarry

The Old Geezers went for a ten mile trek across the moors today, starting from Coldstones Quarry near Greenhow.

Blocked and unused footpaths made for tricky going for long parts of the day, with thigh-high gorse in places. By the end of the walk it seemed more like twenty miles.

We didn't get to the Sun Inn until nearly 5pm ~ that's unheard of.
