Yantai

We set off this morning on the boat from Dalian to Yantai. The boat trip was very calm and the only really interesting thing was that about 2 hours out to sea, I noticed there were a heap of dragonflies around the back of the boat. Very cool.

When we arrived in Yantai, it was raining cats and dogs and we had a lot of trouble getting a taxi. Eventually a guy in a car stopped and said he was a taxi. He had trouble finding where were were staying but eventually we made it. The hotel is a budget hotel but still comfortable and about a 5 min walk from the seaside.

We went for a walk along the waterfront and along the way, found this. That's Terri in the rider's seat.
