The Goblet of Fire

Halfway through the first week of the school holidays, and Elliot is already on the fourth Harry Potter book. Having given up trying to encourage him to read Harry Potter some time ago, we were both pleased when he finally gave in and said he wanted to read them. But I'd forgotten how quickly he reads...

I wonder how much of a push he will need to read Lord of the Rings when he's finished. That might keep him quiet for a bit longer....

Note: Elliot was keen to point out that this book is 636 pages long; the longest he will ever have read. The previous three Harry Potter books have taken him just over a day each to read; so this one might take him 2 or 3. If we're lucky, it might last until the weekend.
