Changing Landscape

When we first moved here every year a tractor came,cut down the weeds,foliage etc in the field behind us, bundled it up and trotted off, job done. As time passed, the tractors didn't come every year, the gaps grew longer...the weeds and foliage stronger.
This week, the tractors came and in 4 days it's a nice tidy field. Sorry, should I say
site ? because this is where they propose to build 28 new houses.
Game on.
