FOR HIRE

This is not a common sight anymore - the Route Master buses ("hop on, hop off") were withdrawn from service in London over seven years ago. Funnily enough, the current mayor wants to bring in an up-dated version in time for the Olympics...

...Anyway, Route Master buses are still around, but for private hire only. Several buses were parked outside my office building this evening. I have no idea for whom, or where the ultimate destination, but they were bright red and shiny, and I thought they were worthy of a blip.
