Buckets and Spades

This picture was taken in Mwnt, Ceridigion. Its a tiny but extremely popular beach run by the National Trust (hence the £3 parking charge). I remember reading that Rhodri Morgan, our once first minister regularly spends 6 weeks every summer here and I can't blame him. I have a great fondness for buckets and spades. No child should ever grow up not knowing how to make a sandcastle, these skills may be imperative in the event of an alien invasion ;)
