ONLY ONE YEAR TO GO...

...Until the London Olympics start!

I left the house early this morning so that I could take some pics of Trafalgar Square before the hoards arrived, but I was thwarted in my endeavours because there were lots of boards up blocking the view and barriers preventing me from getting too close. Curses! So after a hard day at the salt mines, I went out to dinner with Pete, and then ventured back to Trafalgar Square. The celebs had gone and the festivities were over by then, but there was still a lot of security personnel and police controlling access. I had to take this blip using my zoom, and it is not very well composed, but it is timely (do you see what I did there?!)
