this time I made it with grated fresh ginger

This is one of my oldest recipes, dictated to me over the phone by my mum, who can make it without even looking. I need to use scales at least a little.

I thought about baking banana cake on the way home, and that's what I did. I thought about blipping the recipe, and then thought I wouldn't bother. But then I got an email from a friend, planning for another friend's wedding to make them a recipe book. So a couple of hasty snaps have been dispatched by email and I'm tucking into the end result.
