Gone Fishin'

I knew today's Blip would be another late one...Husband had a doctor appointment late this morning. I went along with him and afterwards, we grabbed a quick lunch.

We arrived home just long enough for the kids and I to brush our teeth for our afternoon dentist appointment. Help!! Who would ever schedule back to back appointments in two different towns, anyway?

We raced out the door...we were going to be a bit late. Ah well.

Located only a few short miles from our house is a free boat launch on Canandaigua Lake. I often stop by there just to look out to see if my "friend" the Eagle is resting out in a certain tree. As we passed by the launch on the way to the dentist, we not only saw the Eagle, but also an Amish buggy and two horses tied to trees!

Late? Oh, come on....it only takes a minute or two to take some photos. Husband circled around and stopped for me to take a picture of the horses and buggy. Apparently, a man drove to the launch and was fishing. There were also two young boys with the man. This is unusual in this area, as the roads are very narrow and traffic moves fast. Although there are Amish in the Finger Lakes, I would think this man must have traveled over ten miles or more!
