Cabbage Moth

Well it is actually a butterfly, but locally it is known as a cabbage moth. I planted cabbage this year for the caterpillars to eat so I would have plenty of them this summer, but I think in the past couple of days they may have over eaten and killed the cabbage. It is basically skeletal now. In the meantime, though, I have many of these butterflies fluttering about the garden. They seem to float around in pairs. They don't sit anywhere very long so it is hard to get a picture of them where they are still.
