My very own pool......
I got everso hot on my walk this morning, so mum went to tesco to buy me a paddling pool that she had seen. It was a bit like Teagan the dog's pool, it had hard sides so I couldn't burst it!
Unfotunately they didn't have any left but they had reduced these blow up ones to £2! Mum thought, what the hell, if I ruin it in a day it's only £2.
Little did she know I would ruin it within 20 minutes *giggle*
At first, when she was blowing it up, going all red in the face, I thought......OH MY GOD...what is that? I sat woofing at her and growling the WHOLE time she was blowing it up. It looked like one of those horrible balloon things.
Then she got the HOSE PIPE out. Believe it or not I HATE the hosepipe. So I ran and hid in the lounge whilst she was filling it up.
It went quiet, so I tiptoed to the back door and peered around the corner to see what was going on. Do you know.... mum was sat on a chair dangling her feet in the water. Calling me and throwing TREATS into it. Well, I thought, it can't be too bad if her feet are in it, and some treats......(although some might disagree!!)
So I sat and looked in, just peering in at the water.....most unlike me. I normally DIVE into the first water I see. I dipped my nose in a few times......mmmmm.....nice and cold, then I lapped up a bit.......mmmm.....nice and thirst quenching, then wooohooooo, I jumped in with both front feet and started DIGGING?!!!! Digging......mum cried.......Lily why are you digging?.....it's water....just lie in it and play and cool off.
I soaked EVERYTHING. Mum was drenched, hee hee. Then I eventually managed to dig through the bottom and find the ground. Mmmmm that was better, but hang on.........theres no water left....... So then I picked it up and started wrestling with it. It was GREAT fun. Here are some pictures of my dig :-)
Mum just stood there shaking her head in dispair. Thank goodness it only cost £2 Lily. That lasted 20 minutes maximum.
I don't care...I had a WHALE of a time :-)
Bye for now
