Jess & Molly Law

Mucky Molly

I think that I have used this title before, but it is no less true for all that!

Molly came back from her walk, and she was still fairly clean, despite the miseable drizzle. But she was feeling sorry for herself because her sore leg was giving her some trouble (she had to have a bone operation when she was just 9 months old, and Tramadol usually takes away the pain - but not today).

So she went for a roll in the mud, as you do, then lay down on the flat surface in front of the greenhouse. This is when I caught up with her in the top photo. She knows how to go for the sympathy vote!

When I went into the house to fetch her a chew-stick, she decided that she should get up and follow me. The second photo shows her sitting patiently in the garage for me to bring her treat.

At this point, Mrs jml decided that the Paw Plunger might be useful after all. So we carefully cleaned three of Molly's limbs (not the sore one). Afterwards, Molly sat in the kitchen - you can see the difference in her two front paws - and we thought that an extra Tramadol was in order. So - out came the cheese, Molly ate it and the pill no bother, and then she looked a little happier.

Once more she had persuaded me to feed her cheese!
