A Sunny Day in Slimbridge

Me and my 2 girls went to Slimbridge Wetland Centre yesterday and had a lovely day admiring all the wonderful birds, ducks and all the surrounding countryside. A fab place to visit, especially for families as there's so much to do there and obviously an amazing place for all the "birders" out there too!! And boy, there were lots of them there, with the biggest camera lenses I have ever seen!! Put my tiddly 300mm lens to shame!
I was sooo lucky to see a Kingfisher but sadly didn't have a lens long enough to get a close up! So had to crop this photo to death to get an "ok" close up! Didn't realise how big a Kingfisher was!
Took loads of photos of so many species of birds and ducks, so if you fancy taking a look at them, please do.
