pennan

we went to pennan for the afternoon today - made famous by the film local hero. despite it only being about forty minutes up the road, this was the first time I'd been. it's a lovely place - very small with only about twenty houses...but the beach you see in the film is not the one in pennan. pennan's beach is very pebbly and rocky - still lovely though.

we went fishing at the harbour too, which peggy loved so much that she was highly delighted at catching only seaweed.
