More Secret Places...

M and I didn't kayak today. Our book club is arriving mid afternoon and we had already decided today was a day off. It has been a stellar morning. No wind, blue sky, sunny. Perfect for kayaking. Except I have to admit the variety and challenges of yesterday were quite exhilarating. Not to be missed. On water again tomorrow morning.

A long walk this morning for me and a run for M. As I walked along the road, I passed a sun flooded paddock. A phrase reached me " remember, you are dealing with 1,000 lbs of laziness." A riding instructor was urging a student to be more in control of her horse. Great phrase. It stuck with me and altho not a great photo I decided it had to be shared.
