To Save a Mockingbird

My neighbors daughter greeted me when I got home with "I found a baby bird".So I take it out of the carrier she has it in and know right away its a Mockingbird. Plus the fact the parents were very close and aggravated I knew what to expect. Any one that knows about Mockingbirds know that they are very very protective of their babies. I have seen cats have their fur plucked out if they get too close to the tree . Needless to say I was dive bombed several times . We put the little fella in the tree but later on his was on the ground again . Every time I got close I was hit. Hopefully he found a safe place to stay tonight.
