Dillon Pinnacles Colorado

This escarpment is of volcanic origin and rises 600 ft above Blue Mesa Resevoir a very popular fishing area. Kokanee Salmon are a popular sport fish caught here. We've been over some of the hiking trails here in the summer. We arrived a few minutes late to catch much sun on the face of the Pinnacles so I'll have a "do over" at some point.
