Speyside Sunset

Really lovely day today!

Weather was fantastic so we had a leisurely start to the day - when you're not used to them, woodburning stoves force you into a leisurely start.

We headed up to Cairngorm and took the lazy option of using the funicular railway to visit the summit.

As it was such a clear day you could see for miles and my photos didn't really do the view any justice!

We were treated to a gorgeous sunset after dinner - who needs a TV when you can watch the sun go down over the hills?

After tea we took a stroll along the river and watched a young deer playing around and bats feeding on the beasties.

Such a clear night tonight - no clouds & chilly!
