Wheat

Across the road we have our wheat field. It's pretty much all headed out and starting to fill. The saying goes, two weeks to head, two weeks to fill and two weeks to ripen. So in about three to four weeks we'll be thinking about combining this field. I was amazed at the ladybugs I saw on the wheat heads. The flowers are still on the wheat - they are the tiny little yellow and white flecksthat are almost too small to see.
