Today's the day ....................... to get your feet wet

Turned into a lovely day here and all sorts of activities were going on in the River Kent. Apart from the usual fishing and feeding of ducks - people started taking off their shoes and socks (and even more in some cases!) and started paddling.

I can't imagine that it would feel very nice on your feet to be walking on the river bed among the stones, weed and beasties - but nobody seemed to be worried?!

The only thing this lovely dog was bothered about was who was going to throw him his ball so that he could splash about and retrieve it. Summer must be here ....................
