Burning the midnight oil

Ok, so it's a torch rather than an oil lamp, and it's not midnight yet, but it feels like I'm burning the midnight oil.

Today I have battled the most complex database I have ever worked with and sometimes won; I have wheedled negotiated with a variety of folk, I have magicked assistance out of thin air for people who could arguably have planned things better for themselves and I have met someone who shared a house with my sister 25+ years ago.

Not bad for one day. And there's another day tomorrow...

I'm really sorry, incidentally for the lack of comments. I'm hoping a more normal level of blippery will be resumed before too long.
