Ash Tree in a Field of Butterflies

This field had many patches of nettles and several patches of thistles. Each patch of thistles had 3 or 4 very fresh looking small tortoiseshell butterflies feeding on them - presumably nurtured on the said nettles.

I took about 35 images of the butterflies, many blipable, but having just blipped a small tortoiseshell butterfly 5 days ago, I thought I'd stick with this one tonight.
