Wicked Witch

We're in the middle of yet another heatwave so I haven't wanted to spend much time outside taking pictures. I took this photo of a hallmark Christmas ornament that I have sitting on my shelf. In case you can't tell, it's of the Wicked Witch of the West from The Wizard of Oz. I like how the depth of field has her hand in focus, while her face in the background is softened and somewhat blurry. I think it gives it a slightly nightmarish quality.
