1823

The barn in this picture was built in 1823 by George and Barbara Sell. It is now owned by a nice Mennonite family (Berkholder's) that sells great produce. There are many Mennonite farms in our area that we visit to buy produce. My husband happened to found this farm when he saw a sign about corn for sale. We had never been to this farm it is kind of off the beaten path. We were really glad we did come across it. They have great watermelon for about $3 less than everyone else and corn much cheaper also. The watermelon turned out to be one of the best we have had all season. The corn we haven?t tried yet. I think we will be visiting the Berkholder's again and again :D
