Memory
This apartment balcony so looks like the ones that faced the inside of the block of the building I lived in the summer of 1967 that I spent in Valencia, Spain. There were always articles of clothing hanging to dry in the hot sun, and if there was a breeze, well the cloth would register that before one's skin.
This building faces the famous Viaduct in Seattle that provides views to die for of Puget Sound, and is not at all seismically safe. It is scheduled to be replaced by a tunnel, but our Mayor has quite muddied those waters so who is to know what will transpire, In the meantime, this building faces toney First Avenue and is very near the mecca of Pike Place Market. Despite its worn condition it has "location location" all over it. The worn feature is of course what caught my eye and heart.
