New York Taxi

This week's Vacation Bible School theme has been something to do with taking a journey. So for this imaginary journey, the kids make a stop in New York City. When I first saw these "taxis" this past Sunday I thought they were quite cute. Someone did lots of work to convert a bunch of cardboard boxes into these fun little taxis.

Our great-grandson Tristan was in the class that got to be "taxis." It was almost impossible each evening to get a good angle of the class as they paraded into the auditorium wearing their little Taxi Cab. This photo certainly isn't the best, but I think it conveys the idea.

The photo was taken by Mr. Fun because he volunteered to take Tristan each evening to VBS. So I made sure he had my camera with him as he would leave the house to take Tristan to VBS.

Tristan has thoroughly enjoyed it. He never, absolutely never, has a second thought about going to class. He loves classes. We realized this even 2 years ago when we first took him to summer Family Camp.
