Barrage du Chevril (Tignes)

This barrage swalow up the old Tignes in 1952...

181 m hight, 300m wide ,altitude 1800 m or so at the top.

You can have a look to the picture from the other side I took the 16th of July.

It is very impressive.

The small lake near the golf is not this one , it is the Lac de Tignes (2086 m) a natural mountain lake where the Tignes Resort is now.
