Unknown Butterfly

and ugly poor butterfly *for me :O)*
Don't know what's wrong with this butterfly, looks like this butterfly's having a hard life, looks like has been through a tough battle that resulted in the wings to be like that. or maybe this butterfly is indeed distinctively have wings like that. i've no idea. Can you help me identify this butterfly?
