Ooh heaven is a place on earth

Or so Belinda used to sing. So, once again we've made the journey an hour north to deliver the girly to my mum who is, very kindly, having her overnight while we go for dinner with friends. The best thing about the house I grew up in is the garden - sitting here on a beautifully sunny afternoon, in the shade of an apple tree we helped plant when we were young, is pretty close to heaven.
