Rode to the playground, and after half an hour Abs noticed that the adjacent paddling pool was open, so we rode home and got her costume.

whilst home Abs took a short ride in my neighbours three wheeled car restoration project (he's in his 70's!), and by the time we got back to the park , the pool was closed. tears ensued, but then we noticed one of Abs' friends feeding the ducks, so we went and joined in for a while and happiness returned! phew, what an afternoon.....
