A survivor!
N and I left T to get on with servicing the combine and spraying some of the crops while we went out to lunch with friends near Sturminster Newton. We had a very pleasant day meeting some interesting people, relaxing outside in the garden with delicious food and drink! What could be a better way of spending a Saturday!
Yesterday T tagged the calf and said it certainly had strength in its body and this evening I took this shot after it had just finished sucking its mother. It spends a lot of time on its feet which is really good as its front lower leg ligaments are a little tight and exercise should really overcome this. We can 99% say it is now doing well after a shaky start. It's mother is very attentive and keeps giving it encouraging massaging licks.
