Elvis Lives!

Heard tooting in the street and ventured out to find the annual American Car Rally journeying past. Got lots of shots, but spookiest of all was the sight of Elvis sat in the back of an open top Dyna! Riding in style as one would expect, he gave me a wave and a wink as he cruised by.

I see this every year as thankfully they all journey up my road and back down again on Sewerby Gala weekend. It's a great sight with plenty of horn blowing and waving from cars to us all lined out on the street, and they always slow down so that I can get my photos!

There's everything from an American patrol car to Kit the car from Knight Rider, to Mustangs, to BelleAirs, to the car from Starskey and Hutch to those big monster trucks! All journeying by my front door with a police escort. It's fab and always makes my day! =)
