Torchy
After a quick safty inspection we headed out early this morning towards the guildhall as we had heard that one of the London Olympic torches was in town. So we all bundled round it for a photo and then sat in the back of the cleanest cab I have ever seen in this country to record a quick video about how I really really want to carry the torch.
We then had a natter to a basketball player who could do some neat tricks with a football bfore heading to the new libary in Southsea to meet a Gruffalo and an old friend.
The new libary is really nice, though more like an old spaceship than a libary. It is by far the best replacement to a Woolworths site that I have seen anywhere so far. The Gruffalo, though, was not a hit at all with Toddler who would not go near it but would also not stop watching it either.
I am happy to report that unlike Gruffalo the old friend was a massive hit with the little ones, particularly, Toddler who did not leave her side for most of the day. A big lunch and a lot of natter followed by a strole along the seafront in between coach loads having parties in the sun made for a lovely afternoon where Baby didn't stop dancing even with his current teeth pains.
