Around Town

After another intensive training session, it was decided that us Brits (me and Jim) should be treated to an evening out in the beautiful city of Vienna and live the Austrian experience. It was all arranged - someone would come and pick us up at the hotel at eight, take us for a tour of the city in his car and then meet up with some more colleagues for a drink in a nice typical Viennese hostelry - and perhaps some food as well.
I have to say that the first part went entirely to plan - the chap who was driving had downloaded classical waltzes on to his music system, so we were being driven around the City to the strains of the Blue Danube (and other favourites).

As for the rest, things went slightly askew when parking became a problem. The eating venue was hastily changed, and the Austrian experience became a little less Austrian. We found ourselves in an Irish pub, watching Scottish football on the TV and eating Mexican food. We later retired to an American Cocktail bar for a nightcap.
