Cygnet
This was taken at Bosherston Lily Ponds, Pembrokeshire in the late afternoon of an overcast day. It was very disappointing to see that the National Trust are now charging £4 to park here and also sad to note that the same fee applies if you head just down the road to the nearby Broad Haven beach (there are two in Pembs with this name). Why am I saddened? I'm always sad to see extortionate charges applied to a visit to a stretch of sand and sea. There's nothing special in the beach car park - not even a litter bin. Just unlit toilets, a beautiful view and steep steps down to a lovely beach. By the time I got there whoever had taken the money was long gone so I didn't pay a penny ;)
