big yellow fungus

oyster mushroom of some sort? We were quite surprised to see how big this fungus was at this time of year. Perhaps the false Autumn in June has spawned an early season?

Anyway we had an enjoyable trip across to Kilcreggan this afternoon. Nice ferry ride, wee walk about, a couple of real ales in the Kilcreggan Hotel :)
