Grantchester Village Hall

This is the place we have booked for our wedding celebration next year. Being a country boy I like village halls. They are the centre of the community in many ways and have a humble feel to them that I like.

Grantchester's is less humble than some though. Not many village halls boast a 200 plus year old, thatched, reading room on the front of them (pictured)!

Watched "Blood Diamond" tonight. Not the greatest film ever made but on a historical and social level it highlights many horrific elements of our soceity. I cant find the worlds to describe how sad and upsetting it is to think of all those child soldiers in the world today...
