Sharplen Falls

Had intended to go with my friends to Taiko tonight to photograph the sun going down, but hubby wanted to go for a drive and then visit one of our son's so ended up doing that.
We headed off towards Geraldine for lunch then on to see all the earthworks going on by the Rangitata River, heading on a bit further I noticed the curuosity shop at Mayfield was open so we had a peak in there! and then went on to Sharplen Falls which I have to admit I have never got as far as the falls because there has always been too much to photograph not too far into the track!! You know how it is Fungi and things!!
Bonus he carried my tripod! the only problem was he still had it on the way down when I wanted to do the river! Oh well next time.
