RATTY

I visited our local water-vole habitat this afternoon. We hear them plop into the water more often than we see them, and more often than that there's no sign at all! It's right beside a busy footpath and Sustrans National Cycle Route, but today I had it all to myself for half an hour and saw three voles, heard several more, and had a lovely time with the birds, flowers and insects. My blip had to be this one, but I took some wildflower tapestry photos to add to my wallpapers and screensavers. You should all have been there!
