Heading to the Highlands

Heading north on the A9 at nearly 9 pm, a good move to wait until the football traffic had left Glasgow, the road was very quiet. We also enjoyed our first taste of driving at over 40mph on the M80. Speed restrictions have been in place there for over two years due to roadworks.

This was taken travelling through Drumochter Pass. I think it is Loch Ericht ... wherever it is, it has always been a favourite view of mine.

En route to Speyside, looking forward to lots of trips down memory lane this coming week.
