A visual metaphor.
So this is Templedean Hall, an old local authority nursing home in Haddington.
The metaphors I spotted had to do with how we treat the elderly in the UK, how we deal with old (beautiful) buildings, how the politicians would rather bankrupt the nation by building new hideously expensive PFI funded hospitals rather than adapt what we have got, how we deal with teenage crime, why we have the most extensive CCTV system in the world but crime is still rampant, and how some crappy sign telling people it's not a playpark is somehow going to preserve the sanctity of our community.
Then I got a headache and had to go home for a lie down in a darkened room.
