Paddle in Paradise

I attended the dragon boat races on Octogon Pond this morning. These are organized by ladies who are cancer survivors and who wear pink. The town of Paradise has offered them the use of Octogon Pond to train and held the first Paddle in Paradise race there today. Two boats are seen here returning to the wharf after a race.
They have three boats and teams consist of twenty paddlers, as well as someone who steers at the back and a leader who sets the pace at the front. Several local businesses had put teams together for the occasion. Looks like fun, I'd like to try it sometime...
