Ackworth Amble

What a busy day we've had for a Sunday. We went over to Ashton Under Lyne to pick up a cooker we won on eBay for Lauren and Tom. The one they have in their rented accommodation is a cross between a joke and a liability. Dropped off said cooker at Castleford then onto Ackworth for a planned walk.

The walk was a 5 mile circular walk and took in lots of these lovely fields so evocative of summertime. It's a real challenge, as others have said, some days to just pick one picture. The light today was mostly fantastic until it started to rain later on but even that was quite welcome as we were getting a bit stuffy by then.

Once the walk was completed it was off to the Blacksmith's Arms at Biggin for a lovely meal then home to upload piccies and chill.
