Out Behind the Wood Pile

We are re-doing our courtyard and decided to take down some pine trees in the yard that were too close together. People don't think when they plant, do they. This is a long view of the house; the courtyard is just to the right of the sliders on the left (hope that makes sense :)

The old basketball hoop was also taken down and you can see Ali (on the right) getting on it to make her way back to see what I was up to. There is no doubt that you will be seeing courtyard progress and more men-at-work shots down the road, like it or not. I hope you've all had a lovely weekend!
