Leon's 21st

Today we went to our friend's son's 21st birthday party. He is a special lad to my husband, particularly. Many years ago Necmi was friends with his mum in London. She became a single mum to Leon and Necmi would look after him to help her out. The bond was a special one. A while later Necmi introduced Leon's mum to one of his oldest friends from Bodrum. This introduction went well and they married and had two more children. Only about one week after meeting Necmi, probably our 3rd date, he took me to his "friend's son's 7th birthday party". This was the first time I met Alison. I remember vividly seeing Leon playing with his friends in the back garden, his mum heavily pregnant with number 3, sitting in the kitchen. Here we were, 14 years later celebrating his 21st birthday along with his 2 delightful brothers and all his friends and family. It has been a pleasure to watch this young man grow up and the bonds between our two families develop. Happy Birthday Leon. Many happy returns.
