Flock of black backed gulls

Owhiro Bay Wellington, quite a dark day, high cloud. Big flock of gulls, juvenile, 'teenage' and adult gulls flocking together. Resting on the beach, flying out to fish and coming back to the beach.

A young boy on a 4 wheel motor bike comes screaming down the beach frightening old people, children, and birds all at once. A shame that he hasn't got more consideration, I guess he thought it was fun. Not for everyone else on the beach sadly.

Luckily I had the camera out and got off a couple of quick snaps before the birds disappeared out to sea.
